The PTA consists of a volunteer group of mothers who also meet regularly under the guidance of a Chairlady. This group is responsible for fund raising for the school. The PTA looks after the running of the library, social functions and generally provide a welcome back-up system for the Principal and teachers.

One of the most important functions of the PTA is to raise extra funds which can be used to supplement equipment, puzzles, books – in fact all those things that the teachers need in their classrooms. As the school is a non-profit organization, all the income from fees is used for running costs so the PTA plays such a vital role in assisting the teachers with their “wish lists”. It forms an integral part of the spirit of the BUNS family. The Principal attends the PTA meetings and this body is open to all mothers in the school.
